I had the CT Scan and the report came back and the ENT was a bit confused about it. The radiologist said an MRI would be better so I just had the MRI done. I read the CT scan report and it makes me really nervous because I can't quite understand everything. I haven't any major symptoms except the lump in my cheek (which has been around for years and is painless). But the report said I had some more prominent and swollen lymph nodes and I'm starting to get really nervous about cancer or some serious ailment. I know the doctor ordered the tests because his job is to come to a conclusion and right now he doesn't know. But I'm getting nervous that he's holding info back from me and I don't want anything to be wrong with me. I'm in otherwise good health.

Hi Marlow x Its understandable that you would get nervous about this result as you mentioned something that you say you have had ages that has not bothered you x Its good that they are taking it seriously and doing more tests but try to not panic to much x Swollen lymph nodes can be caused by a few things from colds and flus to infection so its best to not jump straight in and assume the worst x If you are n good health otherwise it should all be fine x BUt its always better to get to the bottom of things and fix them x Donver xx
