I am going mad and this sore throat is doing my head in. It's so sore and driving me mad, I am finding myself with a mouth full of spit and can't swallow too well. It's so bad. Called the doctor who informed me it's a sore throat, no shit Sherlock! He told me to are him next week but it's so sore.

Sorry to hear you have a sore throat, they say a spoonful of honey is supposed to ease it. I hope you get it sorted soon there's nothing worse.

Oh dear me you sound like you are not very well !

The GP could have offered you an appointment or a visit just to check you don't have an infection !

My son used to suffer with tonsillitis a lot & when he was struggling to swallow he would find cold things like lollies , ice cream or even sucking on an ice cube helped

Have you any strepsills or throat sweets they can help a little

I hope it eases over the weekend but if not then I would be at the doctors Monday Morning !
