Can anyone tell me if Kalms work?. As I feel stressed out most of the time. And are there any side effects.

I have tried Kalms, and never had any side effects, other than feeling a little drowsy. Before you buy any, I'd check with the chemist to see if it would interact with any other medication you are on, though. Take care, and I hope they help :) x

I was told they clash with some meds and are only for occasional use for those who can take them.

Hi. I took one today for the first time. They certainly make you relax.

I do not take any other

med's. I have been like

a coiled spring with stress. Have you got any

tips for getting back on

bus'es as I have developed a phobia since

having an anxiety attack?.

Thanks for the infor.

Cheers Andyxx

Hmm phobias. I developed one of my workplace following bullying but obviously still had to go. My only advice is that you have no doubt been on the bus a million times, as I had been into work for 17 years. You have only panicked once so the chances of doing it again are slim. Anxiety and phobia are both irrational. Try to remind yourself it is an irrational fear. I know it doesn't always help but try to view it from the outside looking in. Try to picture yourself getting on that bus from a bystanders view. Would they view there was any danger or anything to be afraid of?? No?? Would you if they were them?? If your fear is people being able to see you are in a panic then trust me they can't usually. I used to have a hang up about that too. Hope that helps. X

I did get on a bus

but only too travel about 2 miles. I shall try again in the near future and

let you know how I get on. Cheers.

Sandra, you are right in that they should only be used occasionally, and that they, like any other over the counter medications, can badly interact with prescribed meds. No over the counter meds should be used continuously without gaining medical opinion. There are a lot of herbal remedies I cannot use because of this problem. x

Hi, I would highly recommend the night time Kalms if you have trouble sleeping due to anxiety. Take them an hour before bed. They work a treat for me. Day time ones I find make me a little groggy. You can only try and see how you go. X
