Hey Sammy I usually find reading helps me or the old favourite is a cup of Horlicks. My brain is the same waits till I'm ready to sleep before it starts going mental. Another thing I read somewhere and does help sometimes. Is when you can't sleep is to get out of bed and do something like going to make a drink. Apparently it helps focus the brain on something else. Hope this helps a little and you get to sleep soon. I'm on a night shift so I'll be awake for another few hours yet then got to try and sleep when the suns out yay lol.

I always have a read and that helps. I also use the Bach Sleep rescue remedy which helps too. My friend gave me this lavender spray and you spray it around your room and on your pillow 10 minutes before you go to bed and that has really helped my husband and me. Just a few suggestions. xx

I use nytol, not the herbal kind. I no it is awful when you can't sleep, things are always worse at night
