I’ve been trying to have a relaxing evening and I literally cannot stop worrying. I tried something new for dinner tonight and then started worrying about what if you end up allergic to something in it. I drank a coke and started worrying about too much caffeine and kidney infections. I’ve literally thought myself into a panic attack and now I’m laying in bed with the air conditioning on and a fan and the humidifier and an ice pack on my chest and I’m propped up because I don’t want to get heart burn. I’m honestly making myself miserable. I was going to do a little exercise to help blow off some of this pent up energy but I’m panicked now and my legs feel week so I’m having to lay down until I can get myself under control.

I’m starting to figure out I may struggle with a bit of health anxiety. I have chronic migraines and I had a family member pass when I was younger from brain tumors and lung cancer so I worry about that. I’ve been checked out and I don’t have any tumors in my brain but my lungs aren’t great because everyone around me smokes. I had a bout of bronchitis early last year and it’s like my health never quite got back to the way it was. I try to do breathing exercises and stuff but it doesn’t always help me. Typically talking to people does but since I mostly experience this at night most people are asleep
Mine does too and it makes me miserable but I was able to get my meds refilled so hopefully it’ll kick in soon.
