Lofepramine and heart

Hi, I've been on lofepramine coming up to a year now. From just before I started getting palpitations and heart racing on movement. I had the 5 mins ecgs done, all fine, waited 8 months for a 24hr one and 3 months for the results...which says all fine also. They've now suggested it's down to the medication. I guess I'm wondering if it is a side effect of the medication, is it possible for it to have continued on for so long?

I feel like anything is possible with medication. Did they decide to take you off? I think that will be information that might answer the question.
