You might have a condition called "Restless Leg Syndrome". I have this. Where I feel an intense need to move my legs at night. It's awful. I take Busphar and Klonopin for anxiety and Panic attacks.. which helps, but not with the need to move my legs at night. You may also have an iron deficiency which can cause a need to move your legs, become restless, have a crawling sensation in your legs, (lower or upper) a heavy feeling in them..feeling dizzy can also mean you are low in essential Vitamins like Iron (Ferrous Sulfate), Vitamin D, (I take a teaspoon of Carlson's Lemon flavored Cod liver oil at Bedtime) Magnesium Glycinate, and B vitamins such as B12, B6, Niacin, Zinc and Folic Acid.

My Doctor did some blood work on me (Ferritin levels) and I am very low on Red blood Cells (Iron Deficiency). Since I suffer from constipation, and Iron is known to bunge you up, she just put me on 325mg on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There are also other medications for restless legs. You might want to talk to your Doctor and get some lab work done and ask for a Ferritin (Blood level /Red Blood Cells) draw as well as blood work to see if you are lacking in needed minerals, which will help with Restless Leg. As far as anything natural for anxiety, I would suggest a prescription rather than a supplement. Best thing to do is talk to your Psychiatrist or Doctor.

Hi

Is busphar available in the uk for anxiety?

I can’t find anything out about it on the internet other than it says it helps with smoking cessation.

I’m at the drs tomorrow and I really need to suggestions them something to help with this panic and anxiety x

I live in the States. Hmm..that's a good question. It's actually prescribed by Psychiatrists here to control worry and anxiety, although imo I think Klonopin is the best, however it's a controlled substance. I would definitely talk to your Doctor about any means available. Let them know you are in need of something strong as you are really struggling with Anxiety and Panic. Also.. I'm not sure if Seroquel is prescribed there, but that also helps..but it has to be taken at bedtime. Let me know how it goes if you want. Keeping my fingers 🤞 for you.

It's a form of stimming. A lot of people do it. It helps cope with anxiety and folks with autism who are overstimulated.

I shake sometimes and other times I bounce my knee while waiting.

Basically I'm just using up my nerves energy by doing that. It's okay. Nothing wrong with it.

I may recommend Dare by Barry McDonagh it's a good book. There's also an app too.

Hope all turns out well

Sending positive vibes 🫂 ❤️

My anxiety is through the roof at the minute and I’m also being assessed for adhd

Do you take any anxiety medication that helps you? X

I take clozanpram which helps keep me from having panic attacks. But doesn't keep the anxiety fully at bay. That's where the coping skills come in.

I hope it helps you like it did me. Or at least get a better understanding of your anxiety.

I take Clonazepam (Klonopin) as well. 2mg in the morning and 2mg at 6pm. 4mg a day is the max dose. Can you ask your Doctor or Psychiatrist if they can increase the dosage? Also Xanax is another option but it has a shorter 1/2 life than Klonopin.

Well I don't see my psychiatrist until November. I remembered he did increase mine when I was really going through it with my doctor who was gaslighting me (that's another story for another day) I went from .5mg to 1mg. But the 1mg made me feel drunk so we went back and stayed at .5mg twice a day or as needed.

I'm fine with the .5mg it works for me.

I'm surprised that tiny amount did that to you. Dang. Usually people have to give it about a week or so (Klonopin) to let their system get used to it, but many on Klonopin don't. I'm talking more like meds like Remeron, Seroquel, Wellbutrin, etc. I felt great after my increase of the Klonopin and it was upped by 1mg. I didn't have to suffer needlessly. Whatever you decide, I wish you all the best.

I have restless leg syndrome. It’s a horrible horrible condition. Some say it’s an iron deficiency but my iron is good. I take mirapex. Only med that works for me.

My sincere condolences. I have it as well. It's absolutely torturous. I'm glad the mirapex works for you. I'm on the Neupro patch. It's the only med that works for me.

I have it too. Had no sleep last night. Just wanted to move my legs. I tried Iron, but it just bunged me up and I already have a problem with severe constipation. She put me on Ferrous Sulphate 325. I'm going to ask her about Neupro patch. Is it a patch you wear everyday?

Yes, everyday. You change it out every 24 hours.

I might ask my Doctor about that. I had barely any sleep last night because I felt I had to move my legs like crazy and they felt so heavy. I also do have edema (fluid build up) which is being handled by Lasik (Water Pill). I have never had Restless leg syndrome before, I wonder why now I am getting it so late in life? I'll ask about the Mirapex.
