hi, I’ve been on Paxil 5 mgs for 7 days now. I’m feeling weak. Tired. Anxious. Can’t sleep and body achy sick. Do these type of symptoms go away? Or is this a sign this med is not right for me

Thanks

It sounds to me like maybe you are actually getting sick.

It’s been 7 days of it, but no change in symptoms. I thought maybe Paxil was doing it since that’s when it started

Dear Plantover14, these medications can take 4-8 weeks to work and side affects usually weaken over time. People are different and react differently so everyone doesn't react the same way to these medications and their side affects. I personally found Celexa (citalopran) to be easier. You should call your doctor and ask him, really, in case you may be getting flu or something. Good luck
