Dry mouth/Always needing water. Is it from depression or from my meds? I will cry if i need to drink water again
Yes, some medicines do have dry mouth as a side effect.
Have you had your sugar tested, diabetes can make you thirsty all the time
Oh no. I don't need diabetes rn. That would be really bad. I was tested before with insulin resistance but mom said it was from the fear of the needle and when i was tested again without being stressed like two years ago, it was normal. It would be really bad if i have diabetes. I love chocolate and fear needles and am too broke for insulin and mom would get a mental breakdown
I don't like needles either, but the shots in Ozempic are spring loaded, really tiny needles and you just pinch the fat and it goes in without even feeling it. Brough my sugar levels down significantly, though some stomach aches to to slowing of gut motility. But, again, the sugar was down from anout 14 to about 7 in four months! That;s huge. You can also check out pioglitazone to contol bllod sugar. I'd stay away from glipazide, personally, though. Metformin might work, but many get GI issues, (i.e., the runs, fecal urgency--super fun on the ferris wheel, as Richard Jeni would put it)
She is probably not diabetic.....
Heyyy I suffer from the same thing. I cannot go on a walk without a water bottle because of how dry my mouth is. When I wake up or work out or walk, I am always thirsty. I have a breathing problem, maybe it is one of the reasons.
Whenever I am on walk, I at least finish two bottles of water.
I don't know but it sucks for me too :((
It's the side effect of the medication 💊 .Have you always had this or is it something new?
Try chewing gum to keep your mouth moist so you drink less water.
I suffer also. Curious, what else to you drink to try and help? And does it?
it could possibly be your meds.
Do you ever add a thing to your water, such as electrolytes? I find this can help the dry mouth feeling I sometimes have, and my almost constant dislike of drinking water. The product, like most commercial things, is almost obscenely overpriced for what it is, but I have to give LMNT credit for sharing their recipe online. science.drinklmnt.com/elect... Raspberry Salt flavor is my favorite. The science is mixed on at what levels salt is good and bad. But for me, adding some salt to my water seems to really help. I also love raspberries, which is one of the fruits that seems to help fuel me the best

I've had that side affect from my medications. I usually keep my stainless-steel water bottle filled up at all times because my dry mouth.
