Nervous wreck

My wife and I left a country fearing that war might break out and now she is going back to live there. The thought of her there is wrecking my nerves. I suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes, depression and anxiety. For the last two of them I take 100mg pregabalin and 150mg Efexor. Still not enough to make me feel better.

Hi SpaghettiBolognese, I am sorry for your suffering. I don't know what to say about the situation other than that would be nerve racking for anyone and is a very difficult situation. I think all we could do is accept that these feelings show how much you care for her...

I always recommend the work of David Burns and his book "Feeling Great". He works to help us see the positive of a lot of our difficult thoughts and emotions and tune them back to where we feel okay. ☮️
