This terrible psychiatrist and job hunting

The psychiatrist told me "y'all mentally challenged people go study psychology to find answers but it gets only worse and there's no job for you"

That was a very nasty comment and hurtful. I left a psychiatrist because he was so rude. I hope you get the help you are seeking with a kind and compassionate psychiatrist. You deserve alot better treatment than that.

Thank you. I feel bad i didn't go to my university city psychiatrist, here they're terrible. Idk how this country can have psychiatrists and psychologists like that

Same hear in the US. Insurance told me I had to see psychiatrist to continue getting my anxiety medication, lorazepam. I had no choice or I would be stuck without it. It has helped me keep blood pressure down and eat and live my life. Insurance here has gotten really bad and has turned down requests from my dr who is trying to help me. Hugs to you and have a much better day tomorrow.

Hugs. I can't eat and live in general without my Clonasepam and the psychiatrist said im an addict. I'm so sorry

Hum --My Primary Care Dr. is the one who I get the Lorazepam from--Yes, it's a med. for anxiety, and to keep high blood pressure down (They gave me an injection of Ativan when I was in the ER with Very high B/P & the B/P came down! Body/mind connection -- Can't separate!

I agree that was really rude and uncalled for!! You DO deserve a lot better. Sounds like you frequently have difficulty with the psychiatrists in your country, so sorry..
