Two weeks ago, I developed Bell's Palsy, which is paralysis of one side of your face. The ER ruled out a stroke and said I would be better in a week. It's been 2 weeks and the doctor just said it could be 3 months. Why do they lie to you? Even then, 3 months may not be long enough. I may have to see a neurologist But I'm going to stay positive and take care of myself. I'll keep my stress low and nurture myself. My first step is to get the doctor to do something about this pain.
Have you ever had Bell's Palsy? What was it like for you? How did you cope?

Hi Minty004! I’ve noticed one side CD of my lip drooping since @ 2003. I asked one of my doctors who told me it is Bells Palsy. I don’t think they would blatantly lie to you.
Today makes 3 weeks with Bell's Palsy. I feel a little better. I have ear pain. But the doctor checked my ear the other day. Everything looked fine. She thinks the pain is from the Bell's Palsy. I'm supposed to see a neurologist and start physical therapy.
