I was in a library reading and a thought hit me again like a brick. I don't fit in with this society. If you don't have a career or any accomplishments to your name...you might as well be dead.That accounts for the attitude towards people with SMI who are homeless. Wich is why my anxiety is through the roof and my mood is so low .

Cptsd stuck me in the past and cut my future off at the knees. Now I'm old in a depressed blind panic. If you're old without family and poor your out of luck.

The only choices you have are court ordered civil guardianships if you loose your ability to handle your affairs or nursing homes where they let you rot to death while the home takes whatever you have plus government funding.

Success, comes in personal growth. The energy you give of as being just good person. Keeping your smiles for people who really need it. I used to volunteer and never had job for long time.
