spiking anxiety

my anxiety has been sky rocketing this week after learning that I will know longer be able to continue my internship at my current placement after June and I was supposed to be with them until March of 2025. They still have not even officially reached out to tell me this, which triggered my lack of trust towards employers. I only have 11 weeks to find a new internship and get it approved in a small rural mountain community. If I can’t this would extend my graduation date and the time I have to spend in low paying jobs trying to make ends meet. My anxiety keeps getting so bad I shut down and it’s hard to keep going as the anxiety continues to build with each response that informs me that an agency cannot provide me the opportunity I need. I use all my skills but the frustration and anxiety just keeps getting the better of me.

I can understand your sky rocketing anxiety. What a stressful situation to be in. Are you in therapy? You said you are using all your skills. Are you practicing a lot of self care?

This is a difficult spot to be in. Quick changes like that upset our balance. Now you have a timeline and that gets stressful.

Eleven weeks is a good amount of time. As hard as it is you just have to keep moving forward.
