Hi Aquaverde, actually both exercise as well as guided meditation are excellent forms
of anxiety reduction. Moving our muscles even with just vacuuming helps release
that extra adrenaline in us as well as prompts our breathing to go back to normal.
Regarding meditation, I have cd's that incorporate a little of each. The imagination of
one's mind through guided meditation can take you on a path made for relaxation and
peace. xx
Good morning, Aquaverde, I have been working on supplementing my anxiety medication and talk therapy. I personally have benefited most from yoga that can work to supplement guided meditation. YogawithAdrienne on youtube has a variety of videos and has been good for me. Especially her videos on positivity and confidence. The loving support intentions alongside thoughtful movement has been nice. I will also say that I have heard from many people that walking helps too, I need to get better about going on a device-free walk regardless of weather.
Hi Aquaverde, I love exercise. Nothing is more freeing to me than sprinting. A physical manifestation of my anxiety is nervous sweating, which is extremely annoying, but exercise does wonders for this. I personally have to be careful about feeling like I did something good if I exercised and feeling even worse if I don't because it is another thing I "should" have done.☮️
yes, and yes. I pedal on an indoor bicycle for at least 17 mins a day, and meditate for 30 as well.
