First step is to see your doctor and then therapy and maybe meds. We are here if you need to talk through x

I wish I had an answer. I am struggling with the same issues on an almost daily basis. Actually, I have just seen my doctor this morning. What you asked was unfortunately not on the agenda, but if I remember what he said previously, apparently to a certain extent, we are supposed to let it go, and to instead focus on being kind to ourselves and to set about living our lives on our own terms (at our own pace and setting our own boundaries, etc.).

Of course, when told me this, based on his years of clinical experience, he laid at the arguments so much more fluently. Excuse me if I am passing on the same ideas with one foot firmly in my mouth.

As to my own conclusions, in now trying to learn to love myself, I realize that bottling up all my anger and frustration probably has a lot to do with my own diagnosis, thus not accepting to some extent what happened in my childhood is a recipe for disaster (falling into a never-ending spiral of self-destruction). I think that is about all I can say, except that it is only important for us to live in the here and now. We can neither go back in time to change things, or predict the future.

Finally, I hope you find some closure regarding what angers you so much. Don't let such feelings define who you are.
