Any teen chat groups for isolated high schooler losing friends due to being home with anxiety & depression? Had to homeschool

my 15yr old daughter started having panic attacks recently. Learned she has anxiety & depression. Normally cheerful, social and outgoing. Anxiety & nausea in social environments now prevent being able to socialize. She’s homeschooling now and no one to chat with or share experiences with.

Anyone have any tips for teen chat groups? And, anyone have a teen that we can have connect?

try calling your local NAMI and ask what they might know of to help. They are 18 and above but have their finger on the pulse of MH and just might be able to refer .

They are the foremost national organization in mental health support. Very informative for parents. My parents went when I was diagnosed when I was 52 and found it invaluable.
