Hello everyone, I suffer from depression and anxiety and lately it’s been bad..My job is extremely stressful and so is my personal life..I am in the process of changing my meds so I’m sure that has something to do with it too…I don’t have any interest in activities and just don’t want to do nothing.. Is anyone else going thru this?? What are y’all doing to stay afloat??

helpful tips on daily living
I'm sorry you're struggling right now. I've been there my recent mental hospitalization was in January of this year. I still struggle with anxiety and what's helpful is breathing exercises and grounding exercises for anxiety.
I’m sorry you are going through this valley right now. I totally know how you feel, I have had periods of time like that but what helped me most was to pick one thing a day to get accomplished, take a deep breath and try to do that one thing and it doesn’t seem so overwhelming causing more anxiety.
I definitely have periods where I am unmotivated, sometimes to a great degree.
Exercise or getting outside in nature helps me. Spend some time doing something you enjoy or that relaxes your stress. It also helped when I realized that when I have these down periods i seem to always come out of it with the passage of time.
Hi, I literally just discovered and joined this group 5 minutes ago. Right away your post resonated with me. I am struggling too and also work in a very stressful job. I took today as a work at home day and told my depute manager it was because my son was unwell. A little white lie but it bought me some time. I have used it to write a life audit-a list of what I am proud of and not so proud of. I have reached out to a couple of people too. Just small steps but I already feel a bit better. I’m now connecting with you and hope I can be of some help to you. I am sorry to hear that you are struggling too x
Thank you for reaching out to me, I appreciate that..I work 10 hour days and I used to be able to work from home but they stopped that and I’m struggling and I am in the process of changing some meds and that is another thing..I just want to get better but I honestly don’t know how..
Welcome to the community.
Do you think changing from remote to the office has had a negative impact. I'm reading so many articles on this lately. Many people are being forced back into that environment and not doing so well
Just a curiosity question.
Med changes can cause so much upset
I hope you begin to feel better soon
