Anyone try clonidine as a replacement for lexapro or similar anti anxiety drug?

I’m trying out bupropion thinking helps with motivation and focus and taking lexapro which does help anxiety for sure but I know it’s hard to get off so was wondering would clonidine be as effective?

Its a blood pressure medicine. But it does help calm me down. I take a half of one. The whole one put me to sleep.

Are you sure you're not talking about Klonopin the anxiety drug. I take clonidine but I have taken the other for anxiety
