This article is mainly about things to do to help promote sleep...however I also think that most of these would be good ideas for helping with anxiety

Interesting. I tried the Military one for awhile a few years ago, but I ended up going back to a method I learned many years ago.

In bed, tense and then relax your feet, then move to your calves, then your thighs, etc, Tensing and relaxing the muscle groups. leaving the arms, neck and head until last. Worked a treat for me; The Military one seemed a bit upside down, working from the head.

It doesn't matter where you start or end. In this experience you will go from top to bottom or bottom to top....the trick is the same...focus on what you're doing....
