I received a lot of support from you all when I posted about struggling with my motivation. I wanted to let you all know that I have tried to follow some of the advice received as best I could. I also made an appointment with my Dr. and she decided that the Sertraline dose I had stepped up to may be the problem. Now she is going to step that down and add the lower dose of Bupronin, I don't know if anyone has tried something similar? I don't know how to cope with the lower/depressive side of things as well as I have learned to cope with the higher/anxious side. Hopefully, this won't last long in the transition phase. I appreciate knowing that ya'll are out there somewhere and that this community exists to turn to.

I used Wellbutrin, which I believe is the same as Buproprion. It worked well for me. I used it a couple of years at 3 different times in my life. I had some anxiety with it, bit it was manageable. I couldn't tolerate Zoloft at all. It was doing something physical and mental to me so it freaked me out.
Sertraline at 50mg works for me, but I take Ativan in low doses for anxiety; Wellbutrin was too stimulating for me and caused heart palpitations; so zoloft with ativan are a goo combo.
Chanelbaron, thank you for your input. Idk I hope this combo works because after this the next option my doctor wants to do is prozac and I don't know about that one. Ativan hasn't ever been recommended to me, I think maybe its because of my asthma? Not sure, but I can ask her about that one as an option down the road.
