I am 73 in hospital with K Amenia which caused other problems with my white cells in isolation now where else can I get white cells

This happened to me earlier this year…caught a very bad chest infection(not pneumonia) and went to A&E where they took some blood.. no white cells(neutrophils) d-dimers high count… low platelet count…put in isolation.. one week on antibiotic I.v. (20 bags!)

Numbers came back up.. never been vaccinated but asked if I had been on chemo.. no!

White blood cells are made in bone marrow…

Got home and started to increase my folate/ B12 (helps bone marrow to make white blood cells and vitamin D (4000iu daily) numbers now fine.As a precaution against started taking some supplements to increase my immune system …. Andrographis …olive leaf extract…zinc and quercetin.because nothing was suggested by my doctor…

You may have feel tired or had a strange cough prior to this…hopefully things should improve quickly.Best wishes.

Thanks I my daughter getting those for me I had covid vaccine on sat hosp thurs they say not the problem take care and thanks again
