Hi Mskitty21, YouTube has been my "go to". It's free and informative as well as

having professional therapists on site. Therapy in a Nutshell is a great site done by

a Psychiatrist. She is informative as well as having multiple topics to choose from.

I'm into Meditation and Breathing and have my favorite videos, if you'd like that, I

can give you some speakers that I use. In meditation the idea is to find someone who speaks

low and quiet and not fast. I started with 1 to 3 minutes the 5-10-15min. Anything longer

you can get bored and go off track. The subconscious mind needs repetition in order for

the brain to absorb new thoughts. 30 days is usually required in starting the change of

thought...I've been doing it for years upon years. Please get back to us if you need more

infor. We are here for each other. Take what works and disregard the rest. There is no

right or wrong in what works for you. :) xx

Yes… any information you can share with me I’ll check out ❤️ I’ve tried meditation but my mind is resistant if that makes sense. But starting slow may help.

Thank you for sharing and helping ❤️

Hi dear, I didn't forget you but it seems everytime I go onto YouTube looking

for meditation, I end up listening to it to regenerate. I will get back to you.

Sorry :) xx

Teaching, will do..remember what has helped me over the years may not be the

best for you, but it's worth a try. I turned this world upside down when Anxiety

hit me and tried multitude of things that I'd be happy to share. :) xx

I try a lot of things and choose the best for me. Probably, I'll find the missing piece soonest. Thanks for agreeing to share.

Hey Mskitty21, I did it again, got caught up in a number of videos on YouTube.

I can only suggest a few that I've watched but the best thing you can do is spend

some time on YouTube looking and listening to subject matters that interest you.

"Health Anxiety Affirmations/Release Symptoms of Anxiety"

by The Anxiety Guy (who was one of our own

"Guided Hypnosis for Anxiety Panic" by the Anxiety Guy

"A 10 min Journey to Inner Peace/Guided Meditation"'

Any of the "Anxiety in a Nutshell" are great. Look for what topic

you want to listen to.

As you get more familiar with the YouTube selection of helpful videos,

you will get to have your favorites.

Meditation is a slow process to be effective. Once it is learned, it has become

the most satisfying and productive say of my life. I use it for stress relief as well

as pain relief. It's amazing in what the mind can be trained to do.

My best dear...We are all here to help guide you in finding something just for you :) xx

Hi Ms. Kitty,

I agree with Agora, "Therapy in a Nutshell" is great.

I also like Kati Morton.

Yes agree with you both. I heard about it on here and it’s lovely. Also the late Dr Weekes. David Burns was also recommended to me from here. Prayers up to you.

I also found Emma at Therapy in a nutshell helpful, I also found the DARE Anxiety book and youtubes helpful and another is Paige Pradko.

Thank you. I’m just in a yucky place right now where I feel I need constant reassurance that things will get better and ppl aren’t always available… so I figured YouTube videos might help

You're welcome, you might really benefit from the Paige Pradko videos, she is a therapist that had health anxiety and OCD who healed herself and now helps others, reassurance can be a big factor of it and she has good info about it.
