Mirtazapine / lucid dreams??
had just about every kind of dream bar a good one.
It's not sleep paralysis is it. I'm not on this medication but have had few episodes of this. Very frightening, completely unable to move, yet you are sort of aware what's going on. Apparently it's your brain waking up before your body and are out of sync. Either way, it's not pleasant
Yeah sounds like that it's really horrible first time it happened it felt so real honestly thought I was having a stroke! 💔
I hope my reply is helpful. I am not on the medication but have had lucid dreams for most of my life. So I guess i'm kind of used to it. Only a Very few of my lucid dreams are unpleasant. I have resigned myself to looking forward to the very real dreams that I know That I will have when I fall asleep.
The wikipedia article on this particular medication does refer to sleep paralysis as a side effect for is a small portion of people who take it.
I have been diagnosed with chronic anxiety. I do not take any medications for it. I am currently using cognitive behavioral therapy as treatment. I pray that your conditions improve.
Cheers from across the pond.
Yes, I have this - very frequently! Awful dreams and I hurry to wake up fully if you know what I mean! And even then the dream still seems real and lingers in my mind… I either get up and go downstairs or read for an hour or so and that gradually helps.
