Zoloft

So, I started Zoloft. It’s been four days and wow I feel down again. I read it’s normal to feel worse for a week and I really don’t like it as I was being better going to gym doing things and now I feel like square 1 again.

I hope there is someone on here that has taken it and remembers or someone that’s starting it etc. I know it’s takes a couple of weeks if not more to feel the effects but side effects…. I hope is a week.

Hey there, I started on zoloft about 2 months ago and the side effects do get better. There was a point where I told my doctor I actually felt normal for once. I'm at 150mg now and I can't say I'm thriving but I know what that rough patch feels like.

Thank you for the reply. So a week is normal for the side effects? Did you get the side effects each time you went up a dose? Also how long until you went up in dosage? I’m 25mg and will go up to 50. Doctor gave me 50 but I wanted less side effects so 25mg. Also in Japan 100mg is max!

Each time I went up I would feel a little funky for a week or two and then I'd just wake up and feel it all at once. Like physically. But in my case I increased really fast and my psychiatrist just says to trust him so I do.
