As some of you may have read in my earlier posts the last couple weeks, it's been a very hectic and stressful time. I work in a 6 story building that is being sold and since I'm in Facilities, we've got the bulk of clean up/clean out responsibility. In addition, not knowing where we're we moving to yet is hard. Many of the employees, myself included have worked here over 20 years so it's really hard to leave and have to say good bye to so many memories.
My husband and I are rebuilding our deck as many of the boards are dry rotted and we're replacing with brand new ones and painting it. It's alot of hard work but worth it. Two nights ago, one of those old board broke off at the end and my left leg went through up to my upper thigh. Thank goodness it was nothing more than scrapes and bruises and very sore but makes it harder now.
This is all triggering the anxiety level. Things like bending over for a minute and standing up too quickly, then feeling light headed for a few seconds....then I wonder why I got light headed. I'm just worn out but we have to get this deck done by the end of this month AND we have to have the building pretty much cleaned out by Sept. 8th. No wonder I'm stressed and anxious!!

I absolutely hate that dizzy feeling. I get the same thing all the time when I find my days are too busy and then the dizziness triggers my anxiety because it's scary , it makes a person feel like they're going to fall or something's wrong with them but apparently it's a normal symptom with anxiety but try convincing our brain of that in order to stay calm! Anyways its the one symptom I can't shake in my life and live with as part of the anxiety disorder but I find that drinking lots of water does help and reducing the activities that are going on throughout my day and keeping my day at a slower pace with less on my plate helps a lot and exercising makes my body feel strong and I can handle it better..... ughh I can so relate.
