anyone have any tips for when those nighttime thoughts just won’t stop? Anxiety causes horrible insomnia for me and i feel like I spend all night every night just trying to fall asleep but my mind never stops running.

Oh yes, the circular thoughts that don't stop. Then you try to will it to stop, but it comes back. I've been told that if I'm awake for more than 30 minutes in the middle of the night to get up and do something. Usually for me it is to prep breakfast or something house work related and then I get back to sleep. I often try to switch my thinking on my personal to do list for the next day. Sometimes this is enough for me to drift off to sleep. Everyone is certainly different and I'm sure some others have better coping strategies. Clearly mediation and breathing should help, but it hasn't ever been enough for me.
Nights like these are pretty regular for me, melatonin gummies and some form of white noise help me get out of my head but I know that’s not the case for everyone. Hoping for the best and some rest for you!
I wish I had some advice. I'm actually going to watch here to see if you get any. I finally slept some today after 3 days where I couldn't sleep because my thoughts get so obsessive.
