I am on Wellbutrin 450 mgs and Zoloft 150 mgs every day. I don’t feel any better than before I started taking it. Has anyone ever tried one of the add on meds like VRAYLAR? How were your experiences?
has anyone ever had your doctor take you off your meds and start over? I’m taking so much and it’s not helping. I’m really disappointed in my help.

I've been through the wringer with meds over the past 15 years. I've tinkered with lots of them until I seem to have finally found the right cocktail, I hope. Sometimes you have to keep trying to find the right one.
Also, I've thought about the add on of those anti depressants just to help my current meds. I'm not sure about adding even more meds though, ya know? Keep us updated. Hug
I was originally taking zoloft for like two years then i stopped took a break unintentionally and finally got back on it like a year maybe two later and restarted only at a 25 and it’s weird that since i started taking it i feel a difference so definitely would recommend maybe trying something different for a while and see if that helps and try to go back or something like that
First and foremost, how long have you been taking them? Zoloft takes about 2-4 weeks to feel the effect. Also you can go as high as 200 mg on this med or even 250, if 150 does not work. I used to take Zoloft 100 and rexulty 15-20 mg. Worked a miracle for me. About changing meds, yes, if the highest doses of meds you are on do not help, your doctor should try finding the perfect one for you. Unfortunately, it is a tough experience because you will go on and off, and it will be a rollercoaster. But it will be worth it in the end. I was misdiagnosed with bi-polar and was on some heavy shit including Seraquil and it made me so miserable, it made it worse than what it was without any meds. I changed docs, and found my meds in a few months period and recovered from anxiety and depression in 4 months. Good luck! You can do it!!
I am unsure about those combinations. I took Zoloft only, 200mg. and at one time 100 mg, and it worked miracles. Never tried Wellbutrin or Vraylar. But, from knowing a lot of people that have been on various meds, everyone can be different.
The worst part about anidepressants is that it may take up to a month or so to see its effects. Maybe that is why you havent seen effects still. I have been 3 weeks on fluoxetine and my suicidial ideas have reduced but not much more. We have to be patient 🙏 wish you the best of lucks
I couldn't tell you on that one. I take zoloft 50 mg. and visterol for rest. I only take vistoral as I need. I'm one of those that doesn't add the extra med's. I just don't like a lot of med's. If others have found more to be the answer they're lucky.
well I saw my pcp yesterday. We decided to switch the Zoloft to prozac. And possibly find a new therapist. And to journal when my husband gets me upset. I hope something happens soon.
