Mirtazapine

HiI've been on 15mg Mirtazapine for about 8 or 9 weeks. I've had my dose increased to 30mg. When can I expect to see if my mood improves?

I am on 15 mgs a day and it's been like that of 6 months. I felt relief early on but now we are talking about increasing to 30 mgs. I would think you should feel some effect at this point but all of our bodies are different and maybe you need more time. Or it may not be the right med. Most folks go for the SSRIs like Prozac or SNRIs like Cymbalta. I have a terrible reaction to both for some reason so I either use older tricyclic meds including mirtazipine.
