You got this. I suggest a calming tea or supplement like valerian root or ashwaghanda. I’ve been off and on meds so I understand. Your feelings are totally valid. Ride the wave as best as you can. Best of luck.

Thoughtful useful advice from LDavis1993. It's not uncommon to have side effects while your nervous system adjusts. 😬 I had to go back to GP who restarted 💊 at half dose I was taking before and doubled the length of time between dose reduction. A simple but effective treatment method.

Bearing two things in mind

1. Chemistry between bodies means that what works for one person may not for the other

2. You are your own life expert & in charge of how you want to proceed.

3. Keep in mind the big picture ture goal you want to achieve - meds free without issues

Hoping you can do it with support of your doctor 🐈‍⬛

Hi 👋

I came off Sertraline about a month ago (50mg) - I have RA, so I know all about tapering when I’ve been on steroids (or so I thought)…….but big mistake, I’ve probably come off the AD’s too quickly, first I had restless legs and felt nauseous, but as I’m such a lot of meds for my RA, it really didn’t register with me it might be withdrawals from Sertraline 😩

A month on now I’m getting the brain zaps and dizziness - after Dr Googling I’ve realised it is probably from not tapering slowly enough. I’m 61, you’d think I’d know better by now.

I hope you’re feeling better now?

👍
