When someone treats you differently and it’s noticeable and you point it out and they say you’re overthinking or overreacting; I don’t think I am do you?

I don’t think it’s fair to treat someone one way one day and the next to be distant and treat them a different way.

Also, if they told you they’d have no issue blocking you or wouldn’t be bothered much if you never spoke to them again, how should you feel about that?

This is a male close friend. A friend I’ve developed feelings for over time. I don’t want to lose them but I don’t want to feel scared to express myself to them either. And I don’t think it’s fair for them to be insensitive either.

Just want honest opinions. Thanks.

It's so hard when a friend makes you feel like you are walking on egg shells.

I think at some point you might have to make a decision for your own health and well being

It's not easy but I imagine there will come a time where you don't want to live like this

I wish you the best of luck

Two things I can't stand...'gaslighting'....and 'passive-aggressive's

Why would you want a friend who said they wouldn’t care if you never talked to them again? We teach people how to treat us. And maybe you’re teaching him you don’t matter.
