chest pain, shortness of breathe and all sorts. Happens most days had a bad episode/breakdown of crying think it triggered a panic attack.

Had a paramedic out and did all the stuff ECG ok and all other stuff they said I’m 21 and too young to have a heart attack. But yknow still feel dreadful.

Hi Dshadzz07, I remember when I first started experiencing Anxiety.. It was the heart

symptoms that were my #1 complaint. I too had all the tests done repeatedly except

for any invasive tests. I refused to have those done esp. because I didn't need it. I too

was told over and over that my heart was fine. It's hard to believe when the symptoms

are there as a reminder everyday.

I cried as well but never worried about a heart attack or stroke. I knew that I had to

get control over my emotional health in order to quiet down my nervous system.

That's when I started my Meditation and Breathing each day and evening. Also started

water exercise (ordered by my doctor) to prove that not being active contributes to the

heart muscle needing action. The heart was meant to work and not just sit around.

The heart also needs hydration in order to function properly. When we become

dehydrated, the blood doesn't flow properly throughout our body in order to bring

oxygen to us.

The more we fear our bodies, the more symptoms we get. I was in my 20's when I first

experienced the same symptoms as you. Maybe the fear is a part of growing up, going

on our own, being responsible for our decisions. That's what it was for me. Maybe try

seeing yet another Cardiologist but then if it's the same diagnosis that you are okay,

you must stop and live your life. My best wishes for you going forward :) xx

thank you that made me cry a little because of how hard it feels to try live my life because of these symptoms and fear.

It’s so so hard I’ve cried too many times over it being 21 suffering for 2 years. It’s my own fault I haven’t made changes. I haven’t done what I should have.

Making changes and taking that difficult step forward is the only thing that

will make your feel better eventually.

When we don't, we stay stuck in the never ending cycle of fear.

Believe me I know because I literally lost years being afraid as well as years

with Agoraphobia. It was then that I was determined to beat this and when the

time was right, I did. Life is amazing my friend, once you throw the lies that anxiety

tells you to the curb. It's going to be okay. One day at a time will get you there. :) xx
