physical symptoms
Yes, its very common with anxiety. What symptoms are your experiencing?
sometimes i just feel an emptiness in my chest and my muscle in my arms just feel very tense. and because im so hyper focused on my heart i notice anything that doesn’t feel normal and it makes me panic
Yes, I agree with BlueSky125 . It's common. I have this trouble, too. I become hyperfocused on little pains in my body and convince myself that it must be serious. There is a really good recorded webinar on the ADAA website about health anxiety, in particular, that helped me to better understand how my brain reacts to stress and causes physical reactions in my body. Actually, here's the YouTube link: youtu.be/odAg6sIlZjg. My physical anxiety problems most recently have been stomach.
YES!! For example, when I get a bad headache it always makes me think I have something serious like a brain tumor. Terrible feeling especially for those who have health anxiety.
I experience this all the time! I get a certain ailment in my mind (heart attack, aneurysm, etc) and feel like every little twinge or ache is related to that.
Yes it is a side effect of Anxiety, if you feel you need to see your Doctor to be checked over give the surgery a call and explain your needs

Yes that an anxiety attack! Yes so tense it’s hard to breath. I want to be positive and upbeat but often it’s hard!
welcome to my life. I get heart palpitations of all types. Keep getting tests and ecgs and they keep telling me they cant help me , I do have some minor issues i am 62 but nothing serious. Just panic disorder, anxiety and anemia.
I actually did have a heart attack with no symptoms. Then I had several panic attacks/anxiety whenever I would have a racing heart or palpitations. Ended up in ER a couple of times only to be told my heart is okay and sent home after tests. When I next saw my cardiologist, he said, "You need to think of yourself as a person now, not a patient". That helps me. I don't go to the ER anymore.
