I recently had a job interview over the phone and I feel like I did terribly. Fumbled a lot on some questions and was extremely nervous. I prepared for over a week and I feel like it all went down the drain. Anyone gone through this? I honestly feel worse than before the interview. My hands are shaking and I thoights are rushing. I don't know how to relax, I just want to cry and curl up into a ball. ): Any advice?

What to do after a job interview?
Breathe! Deep breaths, go for a walk outside. Worrying won’t change what has already happened. Be patient and focus on something else.
I did some breathing exercises and it helped. It's definitely difficult to think of other things when my mind constantly replays the entire interview ):
List what you thought went bad and figure out what you would do if you had a do over. Maybe you will discover it wasnt that bad. Maybe you will figure out a better response for next time. I tend to think things are worse than other people. It is part of MDD. Write your thank you notes and let the process play out. Take care.
Happy Saturday! Pat yourself on the back for completing the interview. You did it! You could send an email to the interview team thanking them for the opportunity and see what response you get. Once a decision has been made, you could ask them for feedback from the interview. Good luck! I hope you get the job!
Thank you so much for replying ❤️ I'm feeling much better today.
I have had interviews where I thought I sucked and got the job and ones where I felt I hit a home run and ….crickets ….not so much as a call back or letter or email.
Probably everyone has had at least one interview where they were kicking themselves afterwards. You will survive and thrive. Let it go. In fact visualize yourself literally letting it go.
