I find that with my breathing.
What do you mean?
I have a couple of breathing conditions and I'm hyper sensitive to my breathing. Seems to get worse when I'm anxious. I over think.
When im really tuned in to my anxiety it seems little things stand out more, small changes. I have to remind myself its just my heightened anxious state, plus youre adjusting your meds so it makes sense to feel more aware
I have a similar problem. I become very obsessive about doing breathing exercises when I'm trying to relax. I get to the point where I think that if I don't do it just right or long enough it won't be effective. I see this as primarily an obsessive disorder and if it occurs while I'm trying to relax by doing some slow breathing, it completely negates any benefits of the breathing. I find that I have to set a limit to how many times I will breathe and then make myself stop.
A friend of mine used to caution me about staring too hard at my navel. Lol. That meant I was over analyzing myself. I don’t have to follow myself around with a clipboard. Judging everything I’m feeling or doing. It’s exhausting to live like that.
I overthink, over analyze, over worry about some thing to the point I make myself sick. Sometimes I spend hours over analyzing making a situation into something that is not.
