I’m a grandma that has frequent nightmares acts out In my sleep and has PTSD!!

You betcha this somebody does. If I can wake up and when I do, I know what they are and know what to do. I’ve had ptsd dreams for years. I shake them off and wait for the effects to fade. They’re usually indicative of what’s going on in my head or life…both are connected. Then I talk it out with my therapist and see what changes in my life I need to make. They’re no where as frightening as the first one I had. I was in a psyche ward, told the tech and was blown off. I sat it out in the dark with another fellow dreamer. It was comforting that I wasn’t alone.
