I hugged an alcoholic today who doesn’t drink and I was hugged back. Im also an alcoholic who doesn’t drink today. I’ll be late to the card giving, though. 🤗

I am a recovering alcoholic who didn't know I was supposed to be getting a card! Lol. But I get and give lots of hugs in AA meetings, for which I am so grateful. On Feb. 21, God willing, I will celebrate 25 years of sobriety.

I am also very grateful for this forum. I was encouraged by many people here back in 2020 when I was in the midst of anxiety and depression that lasted for months. I believe in giving back what others have so freely given me, so I come here to offer support and loving encouragement. Also because I might be blindsided again by the same issues and could need help again....💞
