How does everyone get through the old "is this a panic attack or heart attack?" question? I've been in the ER twice in six month for panic and want it to stop.

Your user name may very well be the reason you can't distinguish between

Anxiety and a Heart Attack. The more we fight the symptoms, the worse it

gets. Learning to trust your instincts in how anxiety works as well as having

had your heart checked out should help some. Learning new methods or tools

in controlling your stress levels can reverse the symptoms. Getting medication

and having therapy can help reduce your fears which in turn reduce the panic and

attacks. Knowing the triggers that start your panic can help you avoid them.

Reading a book by Dr. Claire Weekes' "Hope & Help for Your Nerves" can help

you distinguish between the heart and your over sensitized nervous system.

Her videos are free on YouTube. I wish you well :) xx
