Lexapro and blood pressure

Hello, I used to take lexapro for period of times.

And now I was also prescribed 10mg. I took only for 2 days for 5mg each day.

I was not surprised that the first night i could not fall a sleep. I had this side effect before but it gets better after a few days.

But this time I measure my BP every morning(per doctor advice because of other health issues).

And i noticed that i have elevated blood pressure for those 2 days I started Lexapro.

To check it out,, I did not take it yesterday, and this morning BP is lower.

I am really upset because i don't know what to do. I probably had it before too, i don't know, i did not check it before.

I would like to know if anyone has this experience and may be what ask doctor to prescribe instead.
