Hi I'm Bipolar and I'm on Lithium and venlafaxine .. I'm on 375mg venlafaxine and 300mg of lithuim the psychiatrist increased my dose of Venlafaxine an extra 75mg 3wks ago and my mood is still low , is anybody else on the same dose as me ?

Hi, how are you going on lithium and venlafaxine? Hope drugs are working and your mood has improved. I'm on lithium and my doctor told me I can't go on venlafaxine at the same time....ideally I want to just be on the venlafaxine. Originally I was on venlafaxine and it was working but I stupidly took myself off and ended up being put on lithium which I've been on for 7 months but I don't like the side effects....I don't seem to feel much and don't get excited about things as well as lack of sex drive and have put on a little bit of weight.
