Insane headache

Against_the_current profile image

It's 2am and i can't sleep because of headache. I had a meditation, i left my device, turned off the lights and hours couldn't fall asleep nor get up and be productive. This headache is insane, makes me worried. Plus shortness of breath and muscle twitching. I guess it's tension

Whatever the cause, the headache is real and needs attention. Have you eaten? Been staying hydrated? Sometimes the Dream Relax music on YouTube helps me. Sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes I just have to wait for the headache to leave. I hope you feel better soon.

Yeah that’s rough. Stress and tension I bet. I feel the headache and I have pain in shoulders and back also a heavy feeling of an elephant on my chest, panic from negative thinking and worry of future. Not fun but then again things could be worse and I’m going to now switch to positive mode and go make a grateful thread on here. Join me if you want. Take care. Hope you feel better soon

Thanks. Yeah, the tension is a lot, as well as worrying about the future, holidays, school, gifts, family, whether or not to go home, what to do with my mental health, what to do with my degree... Sorry you're there too

Could it be a sinus headache? I've had some awful ones this year. Drinking extra water, and an isotonic saline spray, helps a sinus headache. Coffee seems to help lots of headaches too.

I hope you're feeling better soon.

Thank you! It can be, and good it's curable. Thanks for advice

You're welcome.

I’ll always say if you are worried enough, contact your doctor or go to your nearest hospital. That being said, some of the other replies are sound. I hope since your post a few hours ago you are feeling better. Always stay hydrated, maybe indulge in some comfort foods, and my go-to is a heating pad. I like to roll it up, and it allows the pad to get hot, but not too hot. I’ll lie it on my head and slowly unroll it where it continues to stay hot and it’s helped me with stubborn headaches. If you don’t have a heating pad, this will work with a damp rag, and you microwave the rag for a few seconds to get it nice and warm. Hope this helps and you feel better soon!
