I got fluanxol prescribed but didn't get my other anti psychotic stopped and i just read it shouldn't be taken with other antipsychotics

I just checked it out, I'd say only take the Fluanxol if you are confident in your doctor and confident that he knows the other medications you are on. Otherwise, I would say maybe call a pharmacist and ask them if they know if it's safe and/or maybe try and contact the doctor again just to make sure.

By the looks of it, the main concern is over heart-rate so I imagine that if there is an interaction between the two medications that it probably wont be fatal and tbh you'd probably be fine but when we are talking about medications and health we don't really want to deal in probably. You've survived this long without the Fluanxol and it probably wont take effect immediately anyway so might be best to hold of on starting it until you are sure it is safe. Good luck!
