Holiday "Health"

Having finished another Thanksgiving alone with only my pet family remaining, I decided to write a letter to Santa and mail it to the North Pole today. I think it will go well, since I am only asking for 1 THING:

"Dear Santa,

Thanks again for all the really great stuff you brought me in the past. I will never forget my red patent shiny shoes, and my black & white horse named "Blaze" on springs that I rode in my cowgirl outfit for years.

For the first time in many years, I am asking for something. I've been good all year, so I meet the requirements. So.... could you please bring me a small box with a lid that I can open and close when I need to, and inside, place the gift of "Underthinking". I "Overthink" too much, and do it more when I'm alone at the holidays. I would like to open the lid of the box you bring me, and pull out your gift of "underthinking" for a while to be a bit happier.

I really, really appreciate you reading my letter, even though I'm not a little kid anymore. Also, after all these years, you sure look Great. Thanks a bunch. I will leave my outside lights on for you Christmas Eve." 🎄

As a Believer in Santa all my life, I now work for the Jolly Ole Man as one of

his head elves. Santa is pretty good at giving the wishes of those young at heart.

Know that if you truly believe in that gift of "unthinking", Santa will bestow that

gift for you both in your heart and mind. BELIEVE xx

Yea 9 years solid All alone for every holiday most people cant handle my abruptness and my high energy w barely any couth. Lol all my life ive been hated . Being alone is literally killing me

I spent Thanksgiving with my dog and three rescued cats watching the Macy's parade and snoozing. I can remember some better Thanksgiving but I can also remember some worse. In the past, I have traveled long miles to be home with my family over long lonesome highways in the cold and dark. I have done the in-laws thing that always gave me a headache. My extended family has dwindled down to just a few, so I am content to sit on my front porch, drink coffee and feed the strays.

There has been the usual grief and tragedy in my life so I am content to enjoy the normal days without fear of missing out.
