I have been suffering with agoraphobia for 6 years and I now have started getting debilitating symtoms when I am indoors as well. Can anyone relate to this?

Yes not personally but sister suffers from this. Eventually just like you she got claustophobia and other ones too numberous to mention.

The way out of it is to start going outdoors again, maybe with the help of therapy. You will probably need meds like diazapam to help you with the anxiety but only you can do it.

Do you have someone to help you ie go out with you at first. Do you have a garden? If so just go out a few yards away and keep doing this until you feel more comfortable. Stay with the anxiety feelings and work through them. This is painful and uncomfortable but is essential.

Then day by day or week by week keep doing it and keep working through it. When you feel a bit better go a bit further. This is a long job and is far from easy but it is essential if you want to recover.

There are a few on here who have been through it themselves and I am sure they will be in soon with their experiences.
