I've been put on 20mg citalopram
me and my fiance have been struggling to concieve for 5 years.. and I have been told to get my bmi down for ivf
my weight has always been an issue and I have always felt fed up with myself. For the last 11 months I have been recieving treatment tfor endometrial hyperplasia, which has really tipped me over the edge.it took me a long time to realise I had a 'problem' as I like to bottle things up,which I know isn't good for anyone 😅 sorry for the long post looking for any ladies that have experience or going through something similar?

Depression and slowing metabolism have not been good for my weight. My BMI and cholesterol was high. I was told to take meds which I refused and decided to look at it as a wakeup call. I found exercise I enjoy and committed to it. I educated myself on nutrition using a menu service. Noom worked pretty well for the last year. There is an equivalent company in the UK that works the same way. Changing these habits will absolutely help your depression. There is more concrete evidence that diet and exercise helps than there is for meds. A healthy diet is also good for your baby.
Not pretending it is easy or you would have done it! There is a book called Atomic Tasks that may help as well.
