Beach Weekend

Hello HU! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I am going to the beach for a weekend trip and can’t help but feel extremely anxious. If you’ve read my previous posts, I always get anxious, nauseous, lose my appetite, throw up, and so much more when I’m out of town. I just don’t like being away from home. My fiancé and I are leaving to go to his parents tonight & it’s a 4 hour car ride. I also get extremely anxious in the car for that long as well.

I hate to ask for this because I feel kind of dumb.. but does anyone have any words of motivation or reassurance they can give me so I can read it on my way there? That would be so helpful to me💜

Sorry, I just saw your post. On the way back, I can suggest Dramamine at half dosage. Full dosage for me puts me to sleep which is actually pleasant. If I’m not driving. I bring the usual stuff on trips and in cars. Coloring, magazines. I can’t recommend anything auditory, because I don’t have a cell phone for the trip. And my car radio/cd player doesn’t work. Last time I was a passenger on a trip, the driver kept getting lost and the gps went on the blink. I wanted to jump out of the car at a high rate of speed. I hate taking trips in a car……..maybe someone will come along with some suggestions that are actually helpful. 😁
