motivation while depressed

Thanks for the suggestions. Please keep them coming.

I am becoming lethargic and avoiding activities.

This is a clear sign of a downward spiral and I really want to avoid that.

I know that just leads to more sleeping and more withdrawal.

Any suggestions welcome to turn the spiral around.

OK, Think on these facts. Not trying to scare you, but these things can happen.

If you lay around for too long, your muscles And your bones will soften, the muscles will contract and you could end up curled and contorted like a dead spider.

If you get to this point it will be extremely difficult to get moving again, and very easy to break bones.Been there, done that.

Exercise is important for bone health, as is daylight on your skin, and the more often you exercise the stronger your bones will become, especially when you become elderly. Daylight and sunlight convert VitaminA in your diet to VitaminD, which helps keep the Calcium in your bones. Milk and dairy help this.

As I said, don't mean to scare you.
