for those of us who are just joining in. See to my last post 'Feeling a little annoyed'. Last time I was short changed on my clonazepam. So I use my refill and and picked it up today or I should say yesterday. I counted my pills and I got my 90 count plus one more. So somebody at Walmart really has trouble counting. But I got my refill with no hassle.

I thought dispensing would be automated especially in Murrca ( bad attempt at dude from Iron-man 3 played by Ben Kingsley )

I don't think they count them or at best they whip through it. I would think weighing them would be faster. You just need to know what the weight per x number of pills are. But refills are usually within days so it doesn't matter much if it is off by 1 or 2. Unless it is cash and expensive as hell. I did get an expensive one for a year and it was pre-sealed so they didn't have to do anything.

Well I was missing a while week of clozapram. That's big deal. They been on point when it's 30 days. It match up with my psychiatrist appointment. So I had to use my 1 refill to make sure I can have pills plus my psychiatrist office called me to cancel cause he won't be in on Monday. So it's a good thing I got my refill.

Yea that is significant. The doctor doesn't send in the RX electronically? All my doctors just hit a button and like magic it is there.

Do you know the pharmacy will give you some if you are out? It would be irresponsible to have people go through withdrawal. And it isn't like your doctor is not going to write a refill for something like that.

I know I can pick most of my meds 4 to 5 days before it's due. But if it a controlled substance then I get it every 28 days. No sooner than 28 days. Have to show ID for those meds.

Not what you're looking for?
