BUSPAR update

So I’ve consistently been taking Buspar for about 2 weeks now. I have noticed a slight difference though if it’s from the pills or not not quite sure. I’m trying to give it a full month like everyone tells me. It does seem to help ease some of the panic though my body still feels on edge. I did notice this weird thing that’s been happening since I started taking it it feels like my whole right ride of my face/head like constricts and gets this weird zappy feeling in it kinda feels like I’m entering another dimension yes I did tell the doctor they’re just kinda like hm interesting. Though my biggest complaint from buspar is the not feeling real most the time though is it from anxiety or buspar also not quite sure.

Hi Adamj, I too take Buspar and have been on a low dose for about 6 months. It doesn’t help anxiety at all. I told my Dr I wanted off it but he lowered it to 10mg 2 x daily. I didn’t have what you described but feel strange all the time plus anxiety is overwhelming. Hope you can talk with him again and express how you feel. I think we pay them partly, to answer med questions instead of hmmming it away. Take care.

I took Buspar for a while many years ago and for me it really helped. Never had any side effects. My opinion is that what you're feeling is from your anxiety and possibly anticipating side effects. Give it more time to work since you haven't been on it very long at all. Hope you feel better.
