Hi, I've just been prescribed Escitalopram for anxiety and depression. I'm trying to get a lactose free version but not having much luck in my little seaside town. Does anyone know which are lactose free please so I can get a chemist to order it in. I'm not getting much help with Google.

Thank you.

Hi Hookie01, I found your post very informative since I never knew that Lactose is an inertingredient in over 1700 medications. Who knew?? Now I see why some people may have

problems with meds. It may not be the medicine itself but the other things that are in it.

I'm sorry I do not know the answer to your question. I'm on Lexapro myself but have

never had an issue. I hope you find some answers to your concerns. :) xx
